Dragons‘ Den, the hit TV show where entrepreneurs present their business ideas to a panel of wealthy investors, has captivated audiences worldwide. Now, you have the chance to join me in a 1 ½-hour Dragons‘ Den session, where we will delve into the world of business pitches, analyze strategies, and learn valuable vocabulary in the process.

Here’s what you can expect from the webinar:
1. Introduction and Q&A: We’ll start with a brief introduction where you’ll get to know each other and me and have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
2. Meet the Dragons: We’ll learn more about the Dragons featured in the selected episode and explore their backgrounds and investment interests.
3. Pitch Analysis: We’ll watch the opening few minutes of the Dragons‘ Den episode, focusing on the entrepreneur’s pitch. Afterwards, we’ll split into smaller breakout rooms to discuss the pitch, the product, the company’s valuation, and potential questions the Dragons may ask.
4. Vocabulary and Grammar: Throughout the session, we’ll pause the video at certain points to examine vocabulary, grammar, and notable statements. This will help you gain a deeper understanding of business terminology and improve your language skills.
5. Feedback and Discussion: Following the breakout sessions, we’ll reconvene in the main room for a feedback session. We’ll discuss the insights gained from the breakout discussions, share different perspectives, and analyze the entrepreneurs‘ strategies.
6. Predicting the Outcome: Before watching the final moments of the episode, we’ll enter another breakout room session to predict and discuss the potential outcomes. This exercise will challenge your analytical thinking and provide a platform for lively debates.
7. Final Moments and Results: We’ll watch the remaining portion of the Dragons‘ Den episode, witnessing the entrepreneurs‘ fate. Afterwards, we’ll engage in a debate about the results, exploring the reasoning behind the Dragons‘ decisions.
By the end of the webinar, you’ll have expanded your business vocabulary, made new friends with similar interests, and gained the satisfaction of speaking and practising business English in a supportive and engaging environment.

“In the Den with Dave” is a new format, and I enjoyed it very much. The challenge is to understand native speakers and to understand the content fully, especially when people all speak at the same time. Dave asked questions to encourage understanding of the content of the conversation. Listening is one thing, understanding is another. With his charming manner, Dave corrected us and gave us help with wording or vocabulary. I will be there next time and can absolutely recommend this form of English training. 5+ stars.
