Blockbusters 2

First of all, by way of an explanation, ‘Blockbusters‘ was a general knowledge quiz in the UK – as I was growing up (back in the dark ages) particularly aimed at teenagers.

Without going into all the minutia (Detail) about how the quiz works, the contestants (Kandidat) say to the quizmaster Bob Holdness “I’d like a ‘P‘ please, Bob“ ; and then next question would come with Bob asking „What ‚p‘ is a place in Italy with a leaning tower?“ The person who buzzes the right answer first wins the field and can choose another.

Inspired by this game I often use a version of this game as an energizer in my training sessions. Here’s one I made earlier and is designed to check the participants knowledge of the irregular ’past tense‘ forms.

For a bit of fun – how would you do? Here goes, hands on the buzzer, let’s play Blockbuster (enter music)
