GYG Day 50. Fun on Friday. Geeking out on grammar.

checked by Grammarly premium.

As promised yesterday, today is a deep dive into detailed grammar and probably far too much to take in in one go. That’s why a prepared a free PDF to download and print out, which will show you all the information in an easy-to-learn format.

Was that it then for today’s post? Of course, not! I thought I’d give you a quick overview of the PDF to whet your appetite. Here are the stats. You’ll learn about six different types of verbs and look specifically at 17 different verbs –

Type 1: ‘continue’, ‘intend’, ‘bother.

Type 2: ‘can’t bear’, ‘like’, ‘love’, ‘hate’ & ‘prefer.

Type 3: ‘begin’ & ‘start

Type 4: ‘stop’, ‘remember’, ‘not forget’ & ‘regret.

Type 5: ‘try.

Type 6: ‘need’ & ‘want.

I’m sure you’ll agree, there are all quite handy verbs so follow the link and download the PDF to get to the nitty-gritty.

As it’s Friday, I can’t really leave you like that. I mean, just grammar ONLY, how mean. Here’s a link to my favourite YouTuber ‘Thoughty 2’.

“Yippee a vid, I hear you cry!!!”

“Hold your horses. I cry” His latest vid is entitled “Why Coronavirus may be a good thing.

As the title suggests, he even manages to offer us a bit of light at the end of the tunnel. Something we certainly very welcome in these dark days of Corona.

Enjoy the vid, keep your pecker up, and stay healthy.

See you on Monday!
